Gardens by the Bay

Went Gardens by the Bay (Singapore) with my two girlfriends - Jeanie (Moo moo) and Kher Wei (Bear bear) two weeks back when the Tulipsmania exhibition was is ongoing! We had so much fun and laughter. All flowers there were blooming. It was an awesome experience. Each of us paid S$18 (with NTUC membership promotion) to both domes - Flower Dome (Tulipsmania) and Cloud Forest.

View of Supertrees during the day. These Supertrees are uniquely design with a vertical height of 25 to 50 metres tall with large canopies that provides shade during the day and display of light and music during the night.

Flower Dome: Tulipsmania
The moment I stepped in the dome, I felt as though I was in Holland. I could smell the scent of the flowers and the sight of every blossom was exhilarating.

Handy-craft session! Handmade tulips were given at the exit of the flower dome.

Cloud Forest
This dome was not as beautiful as the flower dome. Its was more of an experience. Kinda cold too...*Brrr (Shivers)

Finally Dinner! We're all starving like mad after a whole day of walking and snapping and of course... GOOFING around. Haha...
Dinner at Verandah was affordable and relatively good. (Maybe I was too hungry... Hehe...)

View of Supertrees during the night. Gorgeous right!? I prefer them during the night.

Last few snaps of the night view at Gardens by the Bay!

I'm definitely heading back for more Flora and Fauna soon!

POULET: Amazing French Roast Chicken

Want to savour on french cuisine without burning a hole in your pocket? Then make your way to Poulet: Amazing French Roast Chicken!

This cozy contemporary french bistro is located at level 4 of Bugis+. As you know, there are handful of french restaurant in Singapore. Some have self-declared/claimed to be the best in town, while others have plenty or a couple of reviews or comments written be it an advertorial or editorial.

Hmm... as you guys know, I'm just an unknown pathetic blogger (who post irregularly, so forgive me ya -.-") therefore am infamous... Hence whatever is reviewed here are all my personal full pledged opinions!

Poulet is another concept under the Thai Express Concepts. Thai Express Concepts have several other concepts such as Xin Wang Hong Kong CafeNew York New YorkBuffet TownKisekiShokudo ConceptsHeng Heng Curry Cafe and Pinle.

My god-brother, Thomas, and I visited Poulet two weeks back for dinner under his recommendation. Initially, I was craving for Chinese cuisine but he wanted a change so we went ahead... To my surprise, the food there was beyond my expectation... GREAT! We had Saute Wild Mushroom, Escargots de Bourgogne,  Braise de Canard, Poulet Rosti (chef's recommandation) and some drinks. We were so tempted to try out their Tiramisu and Banana Bread Pudding but our stomachs were already cramped to their max, so we had no choice but to give them a missed this time round (Sigh...) Not only were our taste buds satisfied so were our pockets. I could hardly imagine paying such pocket-friendly prices for such decent ("not tip top hor") french cuisine.

Here are some photos for you guys to drool on...
